About us / Rooted in Bholi, Rajasthan

One piece
of land.
A growing
way of life.

19AGRO grew from a family’s relationship with the land—and the belief that agriculture works best when we understand the life around it.

01 / Our beginnings

From Bholi
to 19AGRO.

1969

A family puts down roots.

Late Shri Sardarmal Ji Dasot settled on this land in Bholi village, Bhilwara. These 18 acres became Dasot Farm, and the starting point of a story that continues today.

2019

The idea grows beyond the farm.

Fifty years later, this land became the birthplace of 19AGRO, the brainchild of Karan Dasot. The aim: connect practical farming with knowledge, ecological design and support for other growers.

Today

Practice, learn, share.

Dasot Organic Farms is where we practise. 19AGRO brings that experience into farm design, agronomy, training, products and a wider network of people working with the land.

02 / The land that teaches us

Our first teacher
was the land.

Farming in Rajasthan means working with extremes. At Bholi, scarce water and demanding seasons keep our attention on soil, shade, water use and the relationships between plants and animals.

03 / The people behind the work

A farm grows
through its people.

The knowledge here lives in daily work: tending plants, caring for animals, preparing inputs and noticing what each season changes.

Karan Dasot

Founder, 19AGRO

Karan carries the family’s farming story forward through 19AGRO, connecting the experience of Dasot Farm with practical guidance for people growing a plant, developing a farm or restoring a landscape.

The farm team

Most of our farm workers are from the Bhil community. Men and women receive equal salaries, with training for workers and support for their children’s education forming part of our commitment to the people who make this work possible.

04 / How we work

Connected by nature.
Grounded in practice.

01

Begin with observation.

Understand the land, the season and the grower’s needs before deciding what to change.

02

Build living systems.

Bring soil, water, crops, trees and animals into the same plan. Prepare plant tonics and manures on the farm.

03

Share what we learn.

Make field experience useful through clear guidance, hands-on training and ongoing exchange between farms.
